2 days classroom based - from 8am to 4pm.

Delivery Mode

This course is delivered using face-to-face, classroom-based delivery.

This course is intended for people who are required to safely access the rail track to run a track vehicle within a defined worksite on a rail network during rail work activities.

It includes performing pre-operational and post- perational checks, on tracking and off tracking vehicles, operating equipment, and completing required documentation. It encompasses the operation of all road/rail on-track vehicles.

The successful completion of this course requires competency to be achieved in 4 units.Β

Entry Requirements

You must be able to speak and understand English. You will need to pass a simple Language, Literacy and Numeracy test prior to commencement of the training.
You will need to complete a Railway Category 1, 2 or 3 Medical prior to commencing work.

Course Outcomes
