🚨 Important Update for Rail Workers & Employers 🚨The National Matrix Committee has confirmed that several competencies will no longer be accepted as evidence of Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC) across all National Job Roles. The list of discontinued competencies has increased, and the new deadline for all rail workers to hold the National SARC unit is:📅 8 April 2026Competencies Being RemovedA number of inductions, statements of attainment, and legacy track safety competencies will no longer be accepted (including RISI, Track Safety Awareness, One Track, and other network-specific equivalents). What This Means for CardholdersIf your role is currently validated using any of the discontinued competencies, you must now provide a Statement of Attainment for the National Unit: Safely Access the Rail Corridor ⏳ Transition Period (Extended to 8 April 2026)This extension allows:Employers time to upload updated competencies to affected RIW profilesCardholders time to complete training if required📌 Don’t leave this until the last minute - early action will help avoid access or role validation issues.Contact us todayE: TICRail@ticrail.com.au P: 1300 036 390 ... 🚧 ARTC – Changes to Contractor Inductions 🚧ARTC has transitioned several contractor inductions to the RIW E-Learning platform to help streamline the induction process for contractors across the network.📚 The following inductions are now available via RIW E-Learning:- ARTC National Contractor Induction (EL438)- ARTC Beveridge to Albury (B2A) Rail Safety Instruction (EL437) - ARTC Operations Possession Induction (July–December) (EL439) 👷‍♂️ Who is affected? All contractors who are required to hold any of the above ARTC inductions⚙️ What action is required?✅ If your current induction is valid – no action is required until it expires.🕒 If your induction has expired or you are a new starter – complete the relevant module via RIW E-Learning.These changes support a more efficient and consistent approach to managing contractor competencies across ARTC networks.#ARTC #RailSafety #ContractorInduction #RIW #ETraining #RailIndustry ...
