Obtaining a Rail Industry Worker card (RIW Card) requires a medical assessment to ensure that you are able to operate within the rail corridor, hear instructions, and maintain awareness of your surroundings.
How it works
Complete payment online and a registered health professional will be in contact to help determine the best time and location to complete your medical.
Rail Safety Worker medical assessments are conducted to manage potential risks posed by the health of rail industry workers. A Category 3 medical is designated for Around the Track Person Workers, or non-safety critical workers, meaning they are responsible for their own safety and the safety of fellow co-workers.
