why rail?

Australia's rail industry is booming with $10 billion worth of projects designed to make cities more liveable and efficient, decentralise our economy and grow regional Australia.

With this investment comes an opportunity to kick start a career in a well-paid and stable industry. Rail offers plenty of variety in regard to career paths including Trackworking, Safety, Track Vehicle Operations and Control Centre Management  to name just a few.

You can develop a skill set through rail training that is recognised Australia-wide and could even lead to work overseas making the rail industry an attractive option for anyone looking to travel and work (domestically or internationally).

With Australia's reliance on rail to transport people, cargo and resources you will be part of an industry that provides stability and security into the future.

learning outcomes

This rail course aims to equip participants with the required knowledge and skills to be able to work in the rail industry, or any job/industry where you will be working in or around the rail corridor.
