DESCRIPTION:Queensland Rail 3.2 Safely Access the Rail Corridor \n\nQR3.2_SARC\n\n\nCourse Heading Section (Website)\nThis course is aligned with the specific requirements of Queensland Rail’s Network Rules and Procedures MD-12-189. It is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely enter and navigate the rail corridor and danger zone\, with the permission of the access provider\, in full compliance with legislative and regulatory standards. \n\nParticipants will learn to adhere to the policies\, procedures\, and protocols of the access provider to ensure situational awareness and rail safety. The course covers operating under local track protection rules\, including interpreting track protection requirements\, executing assigned protection tasks\, and performing work activities in line with safe working practices and workplace procedures. Additionally\, learners will be trained to respond effectively to safety incidents and abnormal situations\, within their scope of personal responsibility. \n\nIntroduction:\nEntry Requirements Section (Website)\nIn alignment with industry consultation and the job role expectations outlined by Queensland Rail\, TICRail requires the following for course admission:\n\n1. General and Medical Requirements\n\n\n	A valid Category 3 Rail Medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol\, confirming fitness for work in a rail environment.\n	A Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card \n\n2. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:\nAll participants attending the QR SARC course are required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
