Vale Ian Thornton

It is with our saddest and utmost regret that The Instruction Company has had to announce the sudden passing of one of our instructors.  Ian Thornton has been held in the highest regard in all corners of the rail industry that he had had any encounter with.  With Ian's passing so to goes the passing of a wealth of knowhow, understanding and experience of the most qualitative nature in the rail industry.

Ian has been involved with all facets of the training and assessment tasks that involved The Instruction Company and he will be sadly missed by us all.  The Instruction Company and it's people will remember Ian as being not only a valued employee and friend, also a mentor and an example to everyone on maintaining a standard and degree of professionalism that we should all aspire to equal.

Ian - we wish you a long and happy journey on the great journey you have embarked.
