IC 052 Protection Officer Level 1 |
Description This course is delivered employees/contractors who operate on the NSW Rail Network who will be managing a worksite being protected under No Authority Required (NAR) or by Controlled Signal Blocking (CSB).
Duration Two days off job training. Two days on job training. Assessment of competence takes ½ day to complete. |

IC 060 Track Vehicle Operators Safeworking |
Description This course is delivered to employees/contractors who operate track vehicles on the NSW Rail Network. This course covers the safeworking requirements only.
Duration Five days off job training. Five days on job training if all safeworking systems need to be covered. Assessment of competence takes approximately two days to complete and is dependent on the number if safeworking systems applicable. |

IC 064 Protection Officer Level 2 |
Description This course is delivered to employees/contractors who operate on the NSW Rail Network and will be managing a worksite under the protection under a Track Occupancy Authority (TOA).
Duration Two days off job training. Two days on job training. Assessment of competence takes 2 hours to complete. |

IC 066 Handsignalling Level One |
Description This course describes the procedures to conduct Handsignaller Level One duties on the NSW Rail Network. Handsignaller Level 1 describes Handsignalling duties for protecting worksites using handsignals and detonators only.
Duration One day to complete the off job training One day to complete the on job training. Assessment of competence takes 2 hours to complete. |

IC 076 Protection Officer Level 3 |
Description This course is delivered to employees/contractors who operate on the NSW Rail Network and will be managing a worksite under the protection of a Track Work Authority (TWA).
Duration One off job training. Three days to complete the on job training. Assessment of competence takes one day to complete. |

IC 080 Protection Officer Level 4 |
Description This course is delivered to employees/contractors who operate on the NSW Rail Network and will be managing a worksite(s) using a Local Possession Authority (LPA).
Duration One off job training. Three days to complete the on job training. Assessment of competence takes one day to complete. |

IC 082 Handsignalling Level 2 |
Description This course describes the procedures to conduct Handsignaller Level Two duties on the NSW Rail Network. Handsignaller Level 2 describes Handsignalling duties at level crossings and at fixed signals.
Duration One day off job training. One day to complete the on job training. Assessment of competence takes approximately ½ day to complete. |

Description This course describes the procedures to manage track vehicle movements and to conduct Safeworking Level One duties on the NSW Rail Network.
Duration 2 days off job training. 2 days on job training. Assessment of competence takes ½ day to complete. |

IC 088 Victorian Rail Network Level 1 - Track Safety Awareness |
Description This course is delivered to contractors and describes the Track Safety Awareness procedures that need to be followed when operating in the Victorian Broad Gauge Rail Network.
Duration One day to complete. Assessment of competence is included with the course. |

IC 092 ARTC Track Safety Awareness National Course |
Description This is the ARTC developed Track Safety Awareness course. This course is delivered to employees/contractors and describes the Track Safety Awareness procedures that need to be followed when operating in the ARTC rail corridor. This is a national course that applies to the entire ARTC Rail Network.
Duration One day to complete. Assessment of competence is included with the course. |

Description This course describes the procedures to switch IN/OUT local panels and signal boxes when conducting Safeworking Level Two duties on the NSW Rail Network.
Duration 2 days off job training. 2 days on job training. Assessment of competence takes ½ day to complete. |

Description This is a RailCorp developed course which Track Safety Awareness course. This course is delivered to employees/contractors and describes the Track Safety Awareness procedures that need to be followed when operating in the RailCorp rail corridor.

IC 102 Level 2 Handsignalling Victoria Rail Network |
Description This course is delivered to employee/contractors who conduct Handsignaller Level Two duties for protecting worksites on Victorian Broad Gauge Rail Network using hand signals and Audible Track Warning devices (ATWs).
Duration Two days Off Job Training. One day to complete the On Job Training. Assessment of competence takes approximately ½ day to complete. |

Description This course is delivered to employees/contractors who conduct Track Force Coordinator Level Three duties for managing worksite protection on the Victorian Broad Gauge Rail Network.
